Former Terrier Has Hit the Big Time

Darren Eliot of Sports Illustrated has a story about the youth at the Predator's camp, saying that "he looked to be the most NHL-ready player on the ice."

Read the rest of Eliot's story here.

This is just more great news for what is shaping up to be an epic outgoing class of 2009.  Wilson, Matt Gilroy, Brian Strait and the rest of the departed Terriers are about to make a tremendous mark on the pro ranks, just more outstanding press for the defending national champs.

It's also a great sign for NCAA hockey in general, showing kids weighing their options between college, juniors and the pros that going to school for a few more years won't necessarily kill their chances of making it big in the pros.
