Sanguinetti's bad day is Matt Gilroy's good day.

The Rangers have reduced their roster to the NHL maximum number of 23 players, and Matt Gilroy is one of seven defensemen on the short list.  Michael Del Zotto and Alexi Semenov are the other two defenders who made it along with the four blue-line "sure things."
