Late Rally Earns Terriers A 3-3 Tie
For the second straight game, BU scored with under a minute remaining in regulation to tie the game. Unlike Tuesday's game with Harvard, there would be no goal in OT on Saturday.
Chris Connolly put home the game tying goal with just 51 seconds to play with BU on the power play and an empty net behind him for the extra attacker. It was just one of many exciting goals on what turned out to be a great night of hockey at MSG.
David Warsofsky scored one of his patented short handed goals, and Nick Bonino scored his second of the year on a 2-on-1 rush the get BU within one.
We'll have plenty more on this one later on, as we break down a great Red Hot Hockey.
Thanks for checking out Two Man Advantage, an independent blog dedicated to covering the BU Terriers Men's Hockey Team. It is in no way affiliated with Boston University, Boston University Athletics, Hockey East or the NCAA. Enjoy.
