Which Song Sums Up The Awful Start to This Season Best?

Choice #1: Paul Simon
"Slip Slidin' Away"

What started as a season of high hopes and dreams has quickly turned to disaster.  The high ranking, the high praise, and the high spirits have certainly all started to slip slide away.  And it's only November.  Can BU right the ship before it's too late?  Or is this season already slip slidin' away?

Choice #2: Tom Petty
"Free Fallin'"

From all the way at the top of the hockey world, all the way to unranked, the Terriers have been Free Fallin' ever since Matt Gilroy and company laced em up for the last time for BU.  It's been a train wreck of an effort trying to replace seven huge stars.  BU's fall from grace has been dramatic, instant and impressive.

Choice #3: REM
"Everybody Hurts"

BU fans are crying themselves to sleep at night thinking about how painful it is to watch this new, young Terriers team.  Who or what is hurting most right now?  Nick Bonino's shoulder?  Jack Parker's brain?  The Dog Pound?  Kieran Millan's neck whipping his head around to find the puck in the back of the net?  My throat from screaming down at the ice?  Gryba's ass from spending so much damn time in the box?  Let's just say everybody hurts.

Choice #4: Alice in Chains
"Down in a Hole"

Tied for dead last in Hockey East with a team who's only two points came from beating you.  2-5 overall.  1-4 in conference play.  Out of the national rankings entirely.  There's no denying that the 2009-10 Terriers have dug their grave and at least started to peer into it.  I don't think they have quite yet put one foot in there yet, but they are definitely considering it.  If nothing else, they probably want to crawl into a hole after each and every one of these incredibly tight losses.

Choice #5: Nirvana
"I Hate Myself & I Want to Die"

Perhaps this one is a little extreme.  Nonetheless, it's an option.

Choice #6: Pink Floyd
"Wish You Were Here"

Matt Gilroy, Colin Wilson, John McCarthy, Chris Higgins, Brandon Yip, Brian Strait, Jason Lawrence and Steve Smolinsky.

How I Wish...How I Wish You Were Here....
