Sprinting Toward the Finish
Eric Gryba took just one penalty on Friday night, but my god did he make up for it on Saturday.
Count them up. Tripping, hitting after the whistle, checking (?) and hooking. His penalty at 9:09 in the third came less than a minute after Merrimack's fourth goal which had made it a one-goal game. Whether or not you're going after a record, that is an inexcusable penalty Eric.
That's a clean 10 minutes for the big man on the weekend, and wouldn't you know it, he's almost in single digits.
SCOREBOARD
Gryba -- 277 PIM
Meyer -- 288 PIM
Just 11 penalty minutes to go!!!
The way he was playing on Saturday, I'll be shocked if he doesn't find a way to get this done this weekend.
Thanks for checking out Two Man Advantage, an independent blog dedicated to covering the BU Terriers Men's Hockey Team. It is in no way affiliated with Boston University, Boston University Athletics, Hockey East or the NCAA. Enjoy.
