Oddly Enough, It's Still Possible

If the Terriers lose to NU tonight, Amherst beats Maine, Vermont beats Lowell, and Mack and Providence tie, we will have the mother of all tie-breakers in Hockey East, with a five-way tie for fifth place.  Awesome.

If this were to happen, the final 5-9 standings would break down like this:

5) Northeastern

6) Merrimack

7) Vermont

8) Boston U

9) Amherst

This could be very, very intersting folks.  You sort of have to hope this happens just for the pure humor of it.
