“This year’s field is so wide open,’’ said Parker. “We’ve beaten BC twice, they’ve beaten us once, Northeastern has beaten us in the best game we’ve played all year. We’ve beaten Harvard, but Harvard is playing much better now. I think it’s anybody’s tournament, more so than in any other year.’’

“It’s kind of a role reversal for BU and Northeastern,” Cronin said. “Last year, we were fighting for first place. Now, we’re both down around seventh and eighth (place). We’ve been kind of changing positions. We’ve been having a hard time finding consistency throughout the year but now, I think the guys are starting to figure things out.”
