Spreading the Wealth

Everybody Scores, Everybody Wins

Perhaps the most impressive part about the way BU took apart Maine this weekend was their fast paced offense.  It seemed as if everyone on the ice touched the puck before it ended up lighting the lamp, with no Terrier left behind.

Let's take a quick look at who scored what for BU this weekend.

Joe Pereira: 0 Goals, 5 Assists
Colby Cohen: 1 Goal, 3 Assists
Zach Cohen: 2 Goals, 2 Assists
Nick Bonino: 2 Goals, 1 Assist
Eric Gryba: 1 Goal, 2 Assists
Ross Gaudet: 2 Goals, 0 Assists
Corey Trivino: 1 Goal, 1 Assist
David Warsofsky: 1 Goal, 1 Assist
Chris Connolly: 1 Goal, 1 Assist
Max Nicastro: 0 Goals, 2 Assists
Vinny Saponari: 1 Goal, 0 Assists
Alex Chiasson: 0 Goals, 1 Assist
Kevin Shattenkirk: 0 Goals, 1 Assist
Sean Escobedo: 0 Goals, 1 Assist
Luke Popko: 0 Goals, 1 Assist

Ryan Santana, Wade Megan, and Justin Courtnall were the only three Terriers' skaters who did not register at least one point in the two game sweep.  And they're all freshmen, so we'll let it slide.

All of that scoring adds up to a grand total of 34 points on 12 goals for BU, just two assists shy of a completely full scoresheet.  That's the way to spread the offense around.

That bucket full of assists means that the BU offense is ticking to perfection, and the Terriers have found their groove around their opponents' net.
