Beanpot Notes

When Jack Parker said that people are getting sick of seeing these two teams in the Beanpot Championship game, he's probably got a point.  It's just been complete and utter dominance in the February tournament for the Terriers.  Here are some of the insane numbers.

• BU has won 29 out of 57 Beanpot Titles
• BU is 84-31 in the Beanpot all-time
• BU has played in 25 of the last 27 Beanpot Finals
• BU has won 25 of the last 40 Beanpot Titles
• BU has won 7 times since 2000
• There has never been a final that didn't feature either BU or BC

Yes, there's a reason people may be getting bored with this tournament.  But not fans of BU or BC.  To them this will be just another chapter in the greatest rivalry in sports.  For Harvard fans, there may as well not even be a game tonight.  For Northeastern fans, they will care about rooting against BU almost as much as they usually do about rooting for their own team.
