Dominance is the Name of the Game
In his post-game press conference after BU completed it's sweep over Maine, Gryba explained the on-ice celebration we saw from the big man as well as from Vinny Saponari on Friday night.
After each player scored, they raised their hands high above their heads and held them together to the sky. Although it's a bit difficult to tell with the hockey gloves on, they were both apparently making "The U" signs.
Referencing the ridiculously dominant Miami Hurricanes seems a tad bit cocky for a team that just got over .500 for the first time all season long, but if it works, it works.
Thanks for checking out Two Man Advantage, an independent blog dedicated to covering the BU Terriers Men's Hockey Team. It is in no way affiliated with Boston University, Boston University Athletics, Hockey East or the NCAA. Enjoy.
